Over three intense days, strategic battles unfolded in 7 rounds, showcasing the exceptional skills and sportsmanship of our talented UCSI participants.

A resounding applause is in order for our chess enthusiasts who demonstrated remarkable prowess on the chessboard. In the Under 15 category, Bhavyesh, Joe Yeoh Shen, Joshua Chong, and Minjie engaged in honourable competition. However, it was Tang Kun Sam from 7U who emerged as a star, securing an impressive 11th place out of 133 competitors.

Not to be outshone, our Under 18 representative, Isaac Chan Xi Zhe, delivered an outstanding performance, claiming the 5th spot among 134 participants. Their fantastic achievements have earned them a well-deserved spot in the centralised training program, where they will vie for the chance to represent our district in the highly anticipated KLWP tournament.
