Gayatri Karipaya is a Science and Math teacher with experience teaching both primary and middle school students in Malaysian international schools. Since 2017, she has worked with a range of curricula including Cambridge, New South Wales, the Malaysian national curriculum, and is currently teaching in the IB programme.

Trilingual in English, Tamil, and Malay, she connects well with students from different backgrounds. Gayatri enjoys creating interactive and student-centered lessons that include simulations, educational games, mind maps, and memory strategies like “write, remember, recall” to help students understand and retain concepts more effectively.

She believes in building a classroom environment where students feel supported, curious, and engaged. Outside of teaching, she enjoys yoga, meditation, and cooking—activities that bring balance and creativity to her approach in and out of the classroom.
