UCSI International School Springhill is located an hour’s drive from Kuala Lumpur and within proximity to Seremban, Port Dickson and the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Bandar Springhill is a calm and serene township which makes it an ideal location for UCSI International School.

UCSI International School Springhill is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School and offers three IB programmes – Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma (Pre-U). These programmes help students develop their intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills that will enable them to live, learn and work in a world that is globalising rapidly. IB programmes instil a positive attitude towards learning where students are encouraged to ask challenging questions, reflect critically, develop research skills and learn to participate in community service.

We accept students from ages 6 (Primary Years) to 18 (IB Diploma).

The class sizes are limited to 25 students per class. We believe this arrangement fosters close individual attention in addition to personalised learning.

The maximum capacity is approximately 1,500 students.

We follow an international school calendar which runs from August to June.

  • We offer full boarding facilities to students. Students can be 5 day boarders, 7 day boarders, or day students. Boarding students are supervised round-the-clock by our House Parent who lives on campus. The hostels are located in the same building as the international school and boys and girls live on separate floors.

The After School Programme runs from Monday to Friday from 3:15pm to 4:30pm. With our top-notch facilities, students join a wide variety of activities including sports, academic workshops and the arts ensuring that students are well-rounded individuals.

The school hours at UCSI International School Springhill are from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, followed by the Co-curricular Activities (CCA) from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The school operates a daily van service, as local demand requires, to Seremban and Seremban 2. Information about enrolling in the service can be obtained at the Administrative Office.

The school will evaluate each student before placing him/her into a specific year level. Students entering will be asked to sit for an placement assessment to gauge their English language and math proficiencies.

Yes, students are required to wear uniforms in three different styles: One formal for special events, one for regular academic classes and one for Physical Education (PE) classes. The uniforms are available for purchase at the school.

Our curriculum includes the teaching of the following foreign languages, structured according to the PYP, MYP, and DP:

 

PYP: Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin

MYP: Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English and French

DP: Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English and French

 

For PYP and MYP students, your child can begin their studies with us after undergoing the required placement assessment. However, we encourage students to commence at the start of each term to facilitate a smoother adjustment to the new school environment.

For Diploma Programme (DP) students, it is essential to start their studies by the end of August for DP1.

We offer education for local students as well as a diverse range of nationalities from around the world. Our learner population is made up of a good combination of local and foreign students which makes the school a better place for cultural exchange and international mindedness.

Yes, additional learning support for students is available during lunch hour and after school. Teachers can provide intensive one on one and small group learning support for students. In addition, our after school programme facilitates language development.

Student pick-up and drop-off takes place within the school grounds. The school has CCTV monitoring and security personnel patrol the campus at all times. Access to each floor is only possible with an access card.

Students can choose the set meals from the menu provided at the school cafeteria. The meal choice will be Western and Asian. All meals served are Halal as required in Malaysia.

Co-curricular Activities or CCAs in short operate from Monday to Thursday and Friday, running from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Students have the opportunity to engage in various activities, including sports, academic workshops, and arts. These activities are designed to encourage the development of well-rounded individuals, making use of our excellent facilities.
