The
World Scholar’s Cup organization’s aim is to attract students
interested in learning beyond typical school curricula and focus on
bringing students from different cultures together to discuss issues and
ideas relevant to today.
The way the competition works is that
scholars must accumulate points from the regional to global round.
Accumulative points from the global round to be invited for the
Tournament of Champions at Yale University.
This year at the
Tournament of Champions senior open round our team ranked number 46 out
of over 500 teams putting us on the top 8%. Student Yu Pei Yee ranked 21
out of 1500 scholars. Eason ranked 99. All categories from challenge to
bowl to writing to debate our students excelled. The school is very
proud of their hard work and achievement.
