Mr John Harvey is an experienced IB Educator with over 13 years of experience teaching subjects across the IB Continuum of the PYP, MYP and DP. John is a graduate from Durham University, obtaining a Law Degree, and has continued the pursuit of a lifelong learner by holding a Masters in Education with Sheffield Hallam University.

One of John’s passions is developing skills in students. He has presented his work at IB Conferences, The World Education Summit, and trained over 500 teachers across Malaysia, Australia and the UK. John’s innovative and forward thinking Approaches to Learning Skills Framework received international recognition in 2021 when it was awarded the Internal School Award for the much coveted Teaching and Learning category.

As a lifelong learner, John appreciates the value placed on employing best practices in the teaching and learning environment for the betterment of students’ education, thus is a Lynn Erickson Certified Concept Based Curriculum and Instruction Presenter and Trainer, and has attended John Hattie’s Visible Learning Workshop in Australia, Carol Ann Tomlinson’s Differentiation Workshop in Thailand, Flipped Learning Global Certification with Jon Bergmann and Developing Strategies for Online Teaching and Learning with Harvard Graduate School of Education.
